Since its inception in 2002, the Scott Technology Center has graduated a number of technology-based companies via the three year incubator program, which seeks to take technology based ideas and turn them into viable companies. These companies relocate within the Omaha area upon graduation, in turn helping to both economically grow the area and build a stronger technology-based community.
